Academic Skills Center
The Academic Skills Center is an instructional support service available to Wayne Community College students and other individuals. The Center provides a place for students to study with assistance from professional staff and peer tutors.
Cooperative Education (Co-op) is designed to give students enrolled in many curriculum programs within the college a chance to work on a job related to their curriculum major.
Seymour Johnson Air Force Base Education Office
Wayne Community College offers a variety of courses at its education office located on Seymour Johnson Air Force Base. These courses may be attended by active duty, dependent, and civilian personnel. Offerings typically include associate transfer courses, occupational courses and special interest continuing education courses.
Active duty and dependents of active duty personnel stationed in North Carolina are eligible for in-state tuition rates. Active duty personnel may also use tuition assistance to pay 100% of tuition costs for curriculum courses and for certain approved occupational extension courses.
Wayne Community College Library
The WCC Library is located on the third floor of the Wayne Learning Center. Part of the Community College Libraries in North Carolina (CCLINC) consortium, with a shared online catalog, the WCC Library collections include nearly thirty-six thousand books, over two thousand video-recordings, ten research databases in addition to the NC LIVE aggregate database, and over one hundred periodical and newspaper subscriptions.
