Wayne Community College offers both curriculum credit and continuing ed non-credit courses and programs. With more than 75 Curriculum degree, diploma and certificate programs and a vast number of Continuing Education courses and programs, opportunities for students abound.
Curriculum programs lead to a degree, diploma or certificate in a specific field of expertise. WCC also offers a college transfer program that allows you to achieve two years of a four-year degree.
Continuing Education courses and programs are designed to provide you with training specific to your needs and requirements. Continuing Education course and programs can range from learning how to computer software programs to sewing, and many other learning options in between.
ECU - Wells Fargo Partnership East - Become A Teacher
The ECU - Wells Fargo Partnership East South Central Consortium make it possible for students throughout eastern North Carolina to obtain four-year degrees in education from East Carolina University via courses taken completely at Wayne Community College and online. Upon completion, students can receive a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, Special Education and Middle Grades Education.
While all programs at Wayne Community College are designed to lead to either employment or transfer, the Department of Education has mandated that institutions disclose specific information about programs that meet the federal government's Gainful Employment Program definition. At WCC, these programs are either certificate or diploma programs that are also Title IV eligible educational programs. To comply with the federal mandate, WCC has created a website for prospective students to access this Gainful Employment information.
