BECOME AN AVIATION MECHANIC
The curriculum is designed to provide basic aircraft knowledge to individuals who intend to seek a career in Aviation Maintenance. The aviation systems curriculum prepares you with the necessary knowledge, oral and practical skills to complete the Federal Aviation Administration written, oral and practical tests. Upon satisfactory completion of this course the student will qualify for the FAA Mechanic’s airman certificate with airframe and powerplant ratings and will be awarded an Associate of Applied Science in Aviation Systems Technology.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
Graduates of the program can expect career opportunities that include airport fixed base operators maintenance facilities, FAA Repair Stations, aircraft, engine, or component manufacturers, corporate aviation maintenance departments, airlines, aircraft service centers, and military and governmental aircraft maintenance facilities.
