The Wayne Business and Industry Center will offer the free seminar “Business Essentials,” 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, July14, at the Wayne County Public Library on Ash Street in Goldsboro.
This seminar, led by the N.C. Department of Revenue (NCDOR), will cover the basics of tax compliance ranging from registering a business to withholding from employees, and sales and use tax requirements. Information will be provided on a program for businesses that have fallen behind on sales and use, withholding, and other trust taxes.
