Sesquicentennial Talks

The Foundation of WCC invites the public to a free lecture each month on a different American Civil War battle.

The schedule for the Fall of 2014 is

August 19 – Battle of the Crater

September 23 – Jubal Early’s Attack on Washington, DC

October 21 – Sherman’s March to the Sea

November 18 – Battle of Franklin, TN

December 16 – First and Second Battle of Fort Fisher

The North Carolina Military History Round Table and the Wayne County Historical Association are partnering with the Foundation to provide this series.

All are set for 7 p.m. and will be held in Moffatt Auditorium. No reservation or registration is required.
