Professional Organization Honors Hill and Pfeiffer

Two Wayne Community College employees were honored during the recent North Carolina Association of Educational Office Professionals (AEOP) District 12 meeting.

Annette Hill was named the Educational Office Professional of the Year. She is the administrative assistant for WCC’s Dental Department and has held several offices in the WCC AEOP unit.

Dr. Patricia Pfeiffer was presented the 2014-15 Administrator of the Year award. She is the chair of the college’s Allied Health and Public Services Division and has been employed at WCC for 29 years.

Both women were the winners of their awards at the unit level and will be the District 12 nominees for the awards at the state level.

The AEOP is a professional organization of educational office personnel and administrators. It provides educational opportunities and a professional standards certificate program for its members, scholarships for members and students, a legislative platform, and awards at levels from the individual unit to the state organization.
