Time to Register for Fall Classes

Registration for fall 2016 college credit courses at Wayne Community College will be held July 18-22 on the main campus in Goldsboro.

New and returning students can sign up for classes 8 a.m.-4 p.m. on July 18, 20, and 21; 8 a.m.-7 p.m. on July 19; and 8 a.m.-noon on July 22. Classes offered on campus and the base, as well as distance education courses, start Aug. 18.

Open registration at the WCC Offices in the Watkins Das Base Education Center on Seymour Johnson Air Force Base will be held the same days and hours as on campus. Registration for military personnel only is scheduled for 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Aug. 1-5.

New students must complete the enrollment process, take any necessary placement tests, and be accepted in order to register for classes. The steps that new students need to take are explained at www.waynecc.edu/students-start-here/.

Students are encouraged to register as soon as possible to have the best selection of courses. A complete schedule of fall courses can be found at www.waynecc.edu/course-schedules/.

The next registration opportunities will be 8 a.m.-7 p.m., Aug. 16 and 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Aug. 17.

For those who register in July, fees and tuition must be paid by 4 p.m. on Aug. 1. Payment must be made by 4 p.m. on Aug. 17 for those who register in August.
