Variety of Continuing Education Classes Starting This Month

Wayne Community College Continuing Education will start a number of courses this month designed to develop skills for the workplace or personal interest.

Those classes include
• Administrative Assistant, 6-9 p.m., Tuesdays, Sept. 2-Dec. 16;
• Introduction to Computers/Microsoft Windows 8, two options: 1-4 p.m., Sept. 2-Oct. 21 or 9-noon, Wednesdays, Sept. 3-Oct. 29;
• Introduction to Microsoft Office 2010 and 2013, 9 a.m.-noon, Sept. 2-Oct. 21;
• Web Design – WordPress (hybrid), 6-8 p.m., Thursdays, Sept. 4-Nov. 20;
• Intermediate Excel 2013, 6-9 p.m., Mondays, Sept. 8-Oct. 27;
• American Sign Language II, 6-9 p.m., Mondays, Sept. 8-Nov. 3;
• Introduction to Insurance Services, 6-9 p.m., Mondays, Sept. 8-Nov. 3;
• Spanish for the Workplace II, 6-8 p.m., Mondays and Wednesdays, Sept. 8-Oct. 15;
• Today’s Teller, 6-8;30 p.m., Mondays and Thursdays, Sept. 8-Oct. 16;
• Adobe Photoshop (hybrid), 6-8 p.m., Tuesdays, Sept. 9-Dec. 16;
• Introduction to Microsoft Office 2013, 6-9 p.m., Tuesdays, Sept. 9-Oct. 28;
• Introduction to Interior Design, 6-8 p.m., Thursdays, Sept. 11-Oct. 23;
• Introduction to Microsoft PowerPoint 2013, 6-9 p.m., Thursdays, Sept. 11-Oct. 30;
•Notary Public Education, two options: 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 13, or 4:30-8:30 p.m., Monday, Sept. 22 and Wednesday, Sept. 24; and
• Adobe InDesign, Online, Sept. 17-Nov. 7.

Cost for these classes range from $70 to $180, depending on the length of the course. They will be held on the college’s main campus in Goldsboro.
