GENERAL EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT (GED)
GED classes are offered by WCC both on and off campus. Students are assessed with a Practice GED Test which qualifies them to take the Official GED Test offered twice per month at WCC.
This program is an excellent way for adults 18 and older to find their way back into the system of better paying jobs and higher education. Millions of adults have earned their GED which is accepted at most colleges and universities.
The GED testing fee is $25.00 effective July 1, 2011. A student who has paid the previous fee prior to July 1 and has completed at least one of the tests but not the entire battery of tests does not have to pay the new fee for further testing.
