NC Back-to-Work Program
The program was established by the NC General Assembly, which earmarked $5.9 million for State Community Colleges over the next year to provide training for entry-level technical jobs for North Carolina citizens who are: unemployed, underemployed, Military Veterans and/or National Guard/Reserve Members.
Wayne Community College (WCC) was one of several Community Colleges in North Carolina to apply for, and receive the program grant. WCC will use its grant to help residents attain a nationally recognized and fully portable credential as a Certified Production Technician (CPT). http://www.msscusa.org/production-certification-cpt/
