Continuing Education offers Occupational Extension courses. These courses are designed to improve individual efficiencies, upgrade and/or improve present job skills or to prepare for future employment.
Persons sixty-five (65) and older are exempt from payment of registration fees except in those courses classified as recreational (self-supporting) and community services classes that are classified as self-supporting. These are to just name a few. Course schedules are published every semester. Courses are organized on the basis of need, interest, and availability of suitable facilities. A full program is offered, with classes usually meeting once or twice a week, from two to three hours each session.
