Wayne Community College Continuing Education will offer a variety of computer classes this fall.
The courses are
Administrative Assistant Certification Program – two options: 8:50-11:50 a.m. on Thursdays or 6-9 p.m. on Tuesdays;
A+ Certification Preparation/Computer Repair – 6-9 p.m. on Thursdays;
Digital Photography/Photo Correction – 6-9 p.m. on Wednesdays;
Introduction to Photoshop CS6 2013 – a “hybrid” course: some work online and classroom time 6-8 p.m. on Tuesdays;
Photoshop CS6 – online
Web Design-Word Press – a “hybrid” course: part online and classroom time 6-8 p.m. on Thursdays;
Exel 2010, Beyond Basics – 8:50-11:50 a.m. on Mondays;
Introduction to Microsoft Office 2010 – 9 a.m.-noon on Thursdays or 5-8 p.m. on Mondays at Rebuilding Broken Places Community Development Center;
Introduction to Windows 7 (slow-paced) – 8:50-11:50 a.m. on Wednesdays or 1-4 p.m. on Tuesdays;
iPad I – 6-8 p.m. on Thursdays;
Preparing and Delivering Effective Presentations, Part I – 6-9 p.m. on Mondays;
Preparing and Delivering Effective Presentations, Part II – 6-9 p.m. on Tuesdays;
Illustrator CS6 – online; and
InDesign CS6 – online.
All of the courses taught in a classroom will be held on the college’s main campus in Goldsboro.
Course costs range from $70 to $185. Students may register and pay the fee in advance at the Continuing Education Division’s customer service desk in the Walnut Building or at the first class session.
