ACT TESTING INFORMATION
The ACT test covers English, mathematics, reading and science. These tests measure skills and abilities related to high school course work and success in college.
WCC Allied Health applicants do not need to take the “Plus Writing” (essay) portion of the test.
ALL registration and payment for ACT tests must be done through ACT Assessment, not Wayne Community College.
Review materials are available from ACT and the campus bookstore.

Costs
ACT No Writing: $32.00
ACT Plus Writing: $47.00
Late Fee: $20.00 (plus the basic fee, $31.00 for a total of $51.00)
Stand By: $41.00 (plus the basic fee, $31.00 for a total of $71.00) day of test registration, pending availability of the room.

Forms and fees postmarked after the late postmarked deadline will be processed by ACT for the next test date. All applicants must present picture ID when reporting for testing. No picture ID, no test!
Printed reports are usually mailed about 4 weeks after the test date.
Wayne Community College will not automatically receive your scores. You have to request that ACT send them to your school(s) of choice.

Score Reports
Check www.actstudent.org to find out when early scores will be posted after your test date. There is an $8.00 fee each time a set of scores is viewed during the early scores period. Score reports are normally mailed 4-7 weeks after the test date. Reports for ACT Assessment Plus Writing will be mailed when all scores, including Writing, are available.
* If you have a professionally diagnosed disability, you must provide documentation to ACT. Wayne Community College will not honor any onsite request for accommodation, even if you have the information on file at Wayne Community.
