VLC Development Center
What is the Professional Development Center (PDC)?
The VLC Professional Development Center is one of three centers that support the NCCCS Virtual Learning Community (VLC). Each year, the PDC provides training and support to faculty across the NCCCS through learning objects in the NCLOR and training sessions at conferences and webinars.

NC-NET Academy -An Online Professional Development Program for Community and Technical College Faculty. The NC-NET Academy courses offer six-week facilitator-led online courses that weave together readings, activities, and discussions for participants to construct new understandings in the context of their own situations. Regional Center for Classroom Technologies and Online Instruction Sessions develops resources in the areas of classroom technology and online teaching. Activities of the center will include workshops, webinars, and resources such as self-paced courses, tutorials, and videos to support faculty in their use of technology for instruction.
