The Foundations

The Foundation of Wayne Community College

Wayne Community College is funded by the taxpayers of the State of North Carolina and the County of Wayne, but these funds do not always meet all the educational needs of the students who attend WCC. The Foundation of Wayne Community College is the liaison between those who wish to invest in their community and the students of Wayne Community College. Your gifts fund many unique learning opportunities from scholarships to equipment to cultural events such as the Praxis Film Festival.

The Paramount Theatre Foundation

The mission of the Paramount Theatre Foundation is to promote the quality of life of the citizens of Goldsboro and Wayne County, North Carolina by financially supporting the operations of The Paramount Theatre. To promote the community welfare by supplemental funding of the operations of The Paramount Theatre so that the Theatre provides quality entertainment for the whole community. To supplement the funding of the Theatre so that the Theatre can remain affordable, which should encourage the establishment of new music, dance and theatre groups that represent all of the community.
