Comprehensive Standard 3.7.2: Faculty Evaluation

The institution regularly evaluates the effectiveness of each faculty member in accord with published criteria, regardless of contractual or tenured status.

Judgment of the Off-Site Review Committee:  Non-Compliance

Comments: The committee finds College policies and procedures pertaining to the evaluation of full-time faculty and adjunct (part-time) instructors.  The institution does not provide representative samples or administrative charts verifying annual or periodic evaluations of the full-time and part-time faculty.

The on-site committee should review the evaluation records of full-time and part-time faculty to determine if evaluations are conducted in accordance with college policy.

College Focused Response:  The Off-Site Committee requested representative samples and charts verifying annual or periodic evaluations of full-time faculty and adjunct (part-time) instructors.   The two sample charts of full-time and part-time faculty confirm that performance evaluations are conducted annually or periodically.   The individual’s performance evaluation can be accessed, within the chart, by clicking on the member's name that is highlighted in blue.

As a result, the college certifies compliance with this comprehensive standard.
