Comprehensive Standard 3.9.3: Qualified Student Services Personnel
The institution provides services supporting its mission with qualified personnel to ensure the quality and effectiveness of its student affairs programs.
Judgment of the Off-Site Review Committee:  Non-Compliance
Comments:  The institution has provided sufficient information to indicate that personnel in student affairs are credentialed by degree and that they belong to appropriate professional organizations. However, the committee finds that information does not show the area of credentialing or level of experience to indicate that the personnel other than the counseling group are qualified.
The onsite committee should review credentials of student affairs administrators to determine qualified personnel to ensure the quality and effectiveness of its programs.
College Focused Response: The narrative and table describing personnel assigned to the Student Development Division indicated the names, levels of qualification, and committee/organization memberships not only in counseling but also in Financial Aid, Admissions and Records, and Work Force Investment Act (WIA).   The WIA is a federal grant program that falls under the supervision of the Associate VP for Student Development Services but does not get involved with Student Development activities and, therefore, Richard Darden, Michael Cordell, and Cathy Stickles should not have been included as part of the response to this narrative and therefore have been omitted.
As a result, the college certifies compliance with this comprehensive standard.
