Scholarship Invitational
We will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the founding of our Scholarship Invitational on June 13, 2012. Again, Jackson and Sons will be our Invitational Sponsor. The tournament proceeds go exclusively toward scholarships for students who otherwise would not be able to attend college. While the state’s funding continues to decrease, tuition has increased 11% to over $2,100 a year. If student aid doesn’t keep pace, some students will not be able to afford college. Support from other resources is critical to enable them to get the education they deserve.
Last year's Scholarship Invitational brought in a record breaking $88,000. This translates to approximately 125 student scholarships. Our goal this year is $100,000! The Foundation relies heavily on private donor support to provide financial assistance for these students.
