WCC Single Search
Erwin Library users will now find a group of tabs on the homepage providing a portal to all options now available through WCC Single Search for making the most of the library's ever-expaniding collection of electronic, as well as print, resources. A WCC Single Searching Guide is available to help you with developing your search strategy.
Single Search tab

A search box to begin searching the WCC Single Search aggregate database, powered by EBSCOHost, which provides an integrated search of all database, e-book, and video streaming resources subscribed to by the Erwin Library

The option to select a search of the entrie aggregate database with all subject area categories selected, or a search any one or more of the categories

As the search progresses, many more search parameters allowing a user to focus his or her search to better serve individual research needs, including topic, format, publication date, or type of publication limiters

A search box which allows a user to search for all available issues of a single journal, magazine or newspaper title

After the initial search is complete, the option of either browsing the contents of a single issue, or conducting a topic search across the content of all available issues of that journal

A categorized and annotated list of Other Databases, which are searchable, though not yet a part of the WCC Single Search integrated search

A comprehensive, categorized and annotated list of Internet Resources, with links to everything from government pulblications to weather reports, from the Center for Disease Control to Project Gutenberg

A direct link to WorldCat for Interlibrary Loan will make it simple to request materials not available in the Erwin Library print or electronic collections
