Wayne CC Alert for Continuing Education/Basic Skills Students

Your WCC email address is automatically setup within the WayneCC Alert system when you become a new student.

Note: New students should allow 36 hours after registration for the WayneCC Alert system to populate their WCC login information.

Adding Phone Numbers and Additional Email Accounts

Once you login to the WayneCC Alert system, you can customize your profile, add email addresses, and phone numbers. To add phone numbers or email accounts, do the following:

  1. Login and make sure you are on the “Email | Phone” tab.
  2. To add an email account, enter the email address you would like to add in the appropriate input box under the “Contact E-mail:” section and click the Add button.
  3. To add a phone number, go to the Text and Voice Preferences section on the “Email | Phone” page, enter the requested information, and click the word “More” to add your phone. Then click the “Save” button at the bottom.

Text messages will be sent from the shortcode 857-60 (85760). It is recommended that you add this shortcode number to your cell phone contacts with a name such as WayneCC Alert, WCC Alert, or something of your choice so that when you receive a text message from the college you’ll know you’re receiving an Emergency Alert Message from WCC.

Important: DO NOT use the password change feature inside the WayneCC Alert control panel. Password changes should only be performed through the Password Reset Services on the WCC Online Services page.
