Federal Requirements 4.8: Compliance with Title IV Program Responsibilities

The institution is in compliance with its program responsibilities under Title IV of the 1998 Higher Education Amendments.

Judgment of Compliance: The College certifies COMPLIANCE.

Narrative:

Wayne Community College is in compliance with its program responsibilities under Title IV Programs as stated in the Eligibility and Certification Approval Report and the Participation Agreement dated June 21, 2001. The approval to administer Title IV aid is effective through March 31, 2007. The college receives funds for the Federal Pell Grant, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant, Federal Work Study, and the Federal Family Educational Loan Programs [Federal Subsidized and Unsubsidized Stafford Loans and the Parent Loans for Undergraduate Students (PLUS)].

The Title IV programs are audited each year by the State Auditors under the Single Audit Act. The college's last audits for the Title IV programs have met the federal requirements. The 2003-2004 audit was completed in November 2004 with no findings.
