English Department Publications
The WCC Campus Voice, the Wayne Community College student newspaper, is published by journalism classes. Journalism students receive college credit, but The Campus Voice welcomes ideas and articles from other students when space allows. Students are needed for reporting, photography, editing, and layout. The newspaper is published fall, winter, and spring quarters and is supported by paid advertisements and the WCC Student Government Association. Students interested in contributing to the newspaper may contact the WCC Campus Voice by e-mail.
Renaissance, the writers' and artists' magazine of Wayne Community College, publishes selected writing and artwork of students, faculty, and staff annually in late May. The first volume appeared in 1985. Current editors Rosalyn Lomax, Kathryn Spicer accept submissions of essays, short stories, poetry, art, photos, and musical compositions through February 15. Students receive cash awards, compliments of the Student Government Association, for editors' choices of most outstanding cover design, essay, short story, poem, and artwork.
