Continuing Education Child Care Classes Set

Wayne Community College Continuing Education will offer five classes for child care providers this spring.

The day-long courses each provide .65 continuing education units needed for N.C. Early Educator Certification renewal. Topics and dates are:
Planning a Safe, Healthy Learning Environment, March 29;
Physical and Intellectual Development-Part I, April 5;
Physical and Intellectual Development-Part II/Social and Emotional Development-Part I; April 12;
Social and Emotional Development-Part II; April 26; and
Child Growth and Development; May 3.

The classes will be held 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. (with an hour for lunch) in Room 213 of the Wayne Learning Center on the college’s main campus in Goldsboro.

Cost is $35 each. Students may register and pay the fee in advance at the Continuing Education Division’s customer service desk in the Walnut Building or online at www.waynecc.edu/continuing-ed/register/.
