Dec. 10 Civil War Talk Rescheduled

The Civil War battle presentation set for Tuesday evening at Wayne Community College has been moved to January

The new date for “North Carolinians in Battle in 1863” is Jan. 21, 2014. Local history enthusiast and re-enactor Kirk Keller and special guests will portray outstanding individuals.

The series of talks recognizing the sesquicentennial of the conflict will continue with a different topic each month in 2014.

All will be held at 7 p.m. in Moffatt Auditorium. They are free and open to the public with no reservations or registrations required.

The series is provided by the Foundation of Wayne Community College and the N.C. Military History Round Table.
