How to Start a Home-Based Business

The Wayne Business and Industry Center will offer the free seminar “How to Start a Home-Based Business” 4-6 p.m., Tuesday, July 29, in Room 101 of the Walnut Building on Wayne Community College’s main campus in Goldsboro.

Many people find working at home is the “ideal arrangement” and decide to formally set up businesses in their homes. Topics of discussion will include getting started, legal requirements, developing a business plan, and an overview of small business resource providers who can assist with the venture.
