Safe Wayne - Safety and Security

Goldsboro Police Department Officers and Billy Bison give WCC two thumbs up.Wayne Community College is committed to providing a healthy and safe campus for its students, employees, and visitors. The college’s dedication to providing the best environment for learning is evident everywhere, from well-maintained grounds and buildings to officers on duty around the clock.

Responsibility for the health and safety of all who study, work, meet and enjoy cultural events here lies not just with the employees, but everyone who steps foot on the campus. We encourage all to become familiar with the college’s policies and emergency protocols found on the following pages and to report anything that is suspicious or potentially dangerous to any college official.

We are also providing information about steps you can take to protect yourself here and in your daily lives. We want you to be safe wherever you are so you can come back to WCC often.

Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT)
