New students must complete the enrollment process, take placement tests, and be accepted in order to register for classes. A check list of those steps can be found at www.waynecc.edu/apply-now.

Classes offered on campus and on Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, as well as distance education courses, start Aug. 15.

Payment of tuition and fees is required by Aug. 4 for students who register in July, and Aug. 14 for those who register in August.

The tuition rate for 2014-2015 is $71.50 per semester hour for in-state residents, making a 16-hour semester cost $1,144. The out-of-state rate is $263.50 per semester hour, or $4,216 for 16 semester hours. Students also must pay an activity fee and technology fee. The tuition rate was established by the N.C.
