Child Care Continuing Education Scheduled

Wayne Community College Continuing Education will offer a series of Saturday classes for child care providers this summer.

The day-long courses each provide .50 continuing education units needed for N.C. Early Educator Certification renewal. Topics and dates are:
Productive Relations with Families – Part I, May 17;
Productive Relations with Families – Part II, May 24;
Program Management – Part I, May 31;
Program Management – Part II, June 7;
Program Management – Part III, June 14;
Program Management – Part IV, June 21;
Observing and Recording Children’s Behaviors – Part I, July 12; and
Observing and Recording Children’s Behaviors – Part I, July 19.

The classes will be held 9 a.m.-3 p.m. (with an hour for lunch) in Room 213 of the Wayne Learning Center on the college’s main campus in Goldsboro.

Cost is $35 per session. Students may register and pay the fee in advance at the Continuing Education Division’s customer service desk in the Walnut Building or online at www.waynecc.edu/continuing-ed/register/.
