The deadline to apply for Foundation of Wayne Community College scholarships for the spring 2014 semester is Thursday, Oct. 31. Applications can be printed from the Foundation’s pages at www.waynecc.edu and are available in the Foundation office in the Dogwood Building on the college’s main campus in Goldsboro. The Foundation awarded 152 scholarships worth $107,837 for the fall 2013 semester. In addition to raising and dispersing funds for scholarships, it provides funding for innovative campus projects and employee recognition, and offers cultural programs for the community.
