Allied Health Students Graduate from WCC

August 19, 2025

Wayne Community College’s Workforce Continuing Education Services celebrated the summer graduates of its Allied Health programs at a pinning ceremony.

Nurse Aide I and Phlebotomy graduates received pins and certificates at the ceremony, signifying the successful completion of their programs.

WCC President Patty Pfeiffer spoke about the tradition of receiving a pin when graduating from an Allied Health program. “It is a symbol of the completion of your education and your entry into a healthcare profession,” she told the graduates. “The world needs compassionate, skilled healthcare providers more than ever, and you have earned a place among them.”
