Bison Community Concert Band to Perform at WCC

Wayne Community College’s Bison Community Concert Band will perform in a fall holiday concert on Thursday, Dec. 11.

The concert will begin at 7 p.m. in WCC’s Moffatt Auditorium located inside the Wayne Learning Center (the main building on campus with the flag poles in front). It is free and open to the public.

Conducted by Dr. William Ford, the band will play woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments to perform musical numbers, including several recognizable holiday selections.

The Bison Community Concert Band is offered as a class through WCC’s Workforce Continuing Education Services. Band musicians of all skill levels perform together as an ensemble at WCC at the end of each semester and at various community events throughout the year.

Individuals (ages 16 and older) who are interested in joining the band are invited to register for the next course starting in January. Learn more about how to join the Bison Community Concert Band on WCC’s website.
