Several Occupational Courses Starting in September

Several Wayne Community College Workforce Continuing Education courses that teach occupational skills will start in September.

They include:
Introduction to Computers – two options: 6-9 p.m. on Mondays, Sept. 9-Nov. 4, or 1-4 p.m. on Tuesdays, Sept. 10-Nov. 5 ($70);
Administrative Assistant Certificate Program, 6-8 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Sept. 10-Dec. 19 ($180);
Microsoft Office 2016, Introduction (Slow-Paced), 1-4 p.m., Thursdays, Sept. 12-Nov. 7, ($70);
Microsoft PowerPoint 2016 – 6-9 p.m. on Thursdays, Sept. 12-Nov. 7 ($70);
Effective Teacher Training I, 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, Sept. 17-25 ($70); and
Notary Public – two options: 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 21, or 5-9 p.m., Monday and Wednesday, Sept. 23 and Sept. 25 ($70).

All of these courses will be taught on the college’s main campus in Goldsboro.

Students may register and pay the class fees at the Workforce Continuing Education Division’s Customer Service Desk in the Walnut Building on the main campus. Early registration is encouraged to guarantee a seat.
