Short-Term Insurance Licensing Courses Offered

Wayne Community College will offer two short-term courses that prepare students for insurance agent examinations.

“Life and Health Insurance Pre-Licensing” prepares students for the North Carolina State Life and Health Insurance Agents Examination. It will be held 6-9 p.m. on Fridays and 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturdays, Oct. 18-Nov. 9.

“Property and Casualty Insurance Pre-Licensing” readies students for the North Carolina State Property and Casualty Insurance Agents Examination. It will be taught 6-9 p.m. on Fridays and 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturdays, Nov. 15-Dec. 14.

All of these courses will be taught on the college’s main campus in Goldsboro.

The registration fee for each course is $125. Course textbooks will be available for purchase for $70 at the first class session.

Students may register and pay the class fees at the Workforce Continuing Education Division’s Customer Service Desk in the Walnut Building on the main campus. Early registration is encouraged to guarantee a seat.
