Truck Driving Permit Classes, Hands-on Course Info Sessions Set

Wayne Community College will hold truck driver permit study classes and information sessions for driver training this month.

Two Truck Driver Training Permit Study Classes to prepare students to take the Commercial Learner’s Permit test have been scheduled.

Classes will be held 6-10 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, July 22-24 and again 6-10 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, Aug. 12-14.

Students may register and pay the $70 registration cost and student fees at the Workforce Continuing Education Division’s Customer Service Desk in the Walnut Building on the main campus. Early registration is encouraged to guarantee a seat.

Individuals interested in taking a hands-on commercial truck driving course at WCC should attend an information session set for 6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16 or Tuesday, July 30. They will be held in Room 101 of the Walnut Building on the college’s main campus in Goldsboro.

The information sessions are free and do not require pre-registration.
