WCC Selected for Automotive Training

Wayne Community College was selected by General Motors to provide specialized training to automotive technicians from across the region.

The “Alignment/Undercar Seminar” was taught by WCC’s GM Automotive Service Educational Program Coordinator David Byrd. He covered alignment and inspection techniques with a focus on productivity, diagnosis, and common service procedures.

The training included a session on a popular brand of alignment equipment. Adrian Rigsbee, a representative of Hunter Engineering Company, explained his firm’s current alignment devices and demonstrated those that the technicians are likely to have in their shops.

During a recent training session held at Wayne Community College, automotive technicians learned about alignment techniques and were provided a special session on equipment from Hunter Engineering Company Representative Adrian Rigsbee.
