WCC to Hold Two Graduation Ceremonies on May 12

Wayne Community College will celebrate its spring 2026 curriculum (college credit) graduates during two ceremonies on Tuesday, May 12, at the Maxwell Center.

WCC’s Allied Health and Arts & Sciences graduates will be recognized during the day’s first ceremony at 10 a.m.

Graduates of WCC’s Applied Technologies, Business & Computer Technologies, Public Safety, and Public Services programs will be honored in the second ceremony at 2 p.m.

WCC will celebrate its spring curriculum graduates on Tuesday, May 12.

A total of 569 students are set to graduate this spring, with students receiving a total of 863 degrees, diplomas, and certificates.

Mario Lopez will offer remarks on behalf of the graduating class. He is the president of WCC’s Student Government Association and will graduate with an Associate in Science degree.

Both ceremonies are ticketed events with each graduate receiving six tickets for guests. All others may watch the ceremonies livestreamed on WCC’s Facebook page.
