ALLIED HEALTH CAREER EXPLORATION

This camp will give the campers a general overview of the allied health career field. The campers will receive basic first aid and hands-on CPR training upon completion of the camp.

AUTOMOTIVE ACADEMY – HIGH SCHOOL

In this camp, campers will learn more about basic painting and refinishing. Camp participants will get to see what it takes to make repairs to the exterior of a vehicle, as well as take part in hands-on activities.

BUSINESS CAREER EXPLORATION

In this camp, the campers will learn how money works and what it takes to work in business. The campers will also get hands-on experience with a chance to create their own business and even design a logo.

SEW AND STITCH CAMP

This camp will introduce basic sewing techniques, basic sewing machine operations, and much more while being challenged to create a final project to display.

STEM GARDENING CAMP – MIDDLE SCHOOL

This two-week, hands-on camp will allow students to learn the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math used in gardening. Three modules will run concurrently as students explore the magic of square foot gardening and get experience designing and building raised garden beds while developing their green thumb.

VIDEO GAME ACADEMY

This academy introduces the various aspects of simulation and game development. Academy students will engage in 3D modeling, bug testing video games, creating video games, storyboarding, and animation. Students will have fun and gain valuable hands-on experience designing and producing game artifacts to share with family and friends.

How to sign up for summer camps

All students who wish to attend should download the student registration form and complete the Steps to Register below.

  1. Download the Continuing Education Registration Form and complete all items on the form. The registration form can also be picked up on the WCC campus in the Walnut building.
  2. Be sure to sign and date the form (use the new Digital Signature option if desired–just click the Signature block and follow the directions).
  3. Print your registration form and submit to WCC. You can send in the form by mail (address is below); you can fax/email/scan your signed form to WCC’s Continuing Education Department; and you can drop-off your signed form along with your course fee (we accept Cash or Credit Card). The camp fee is due at time of registration.
