Sustainable Agriculture

Want to make a difference in your community, state and nation? The Sustainable Agriculture program will enable you to have an impact by providing you with the entrepreneurial and technical skills necessary to manage a profitable, environmentally sound, community-based small farm or agricultural business. Examples of employment opportunities include farm manager/owner/ worker, organic gardener, or integrated management pest scout, and in retail/wholesale crop production, livestock production, vineyards, and related agriculture businesses and government or environmental agencies. Entry-level salaries range from $24,000 to $36,000.

Credentials available: Associate in Applied Science Degree – Sustainable Agriculture

Things to Consider: Excellent local, regional and state employment opportunities. Work-Based Learning is required so that students are able to gain work experience and connect with industry leaders to enhance their future endeavors.
