Apply Now for Spring 2014 Scholarships

New and returning students who plan to attend Wayne Community College for the spring 2014 semester may apply for Foundation of Wayne Community College scholarships in the month of October.

Scholarship applications are available in the Foundation office in the Dogwood Building on the college’s main campus in Goldsboro and or can be printed from the Foundation’s section of the WCC Web site at www.waynecc.edu. Completed applications are to be turned in to the Foundation office no later than Oct. 31.

Students seeking Foundation scholarships are required to apply for federal financial aid also and can do so online at www.fafsa.ed.gov or obtain materials from the WCC financial aid office.

The Foundation awarded 152 scholarships worth $107,837 for the fall 2013 semester. In addition to raising and dispersing funds for scholarships, it provides funding for innovative campus projects and employee recognition, and offers cultural programs for the community.
