Wayne Community College’s Bridge Summer Camp offers middle school students an opportunity to explore engineering design through utilizing SolidWorks 3D-Modeling and AutoCad. Students will get hands-on experience learning these two design softwares that are highly used in the engineering and manufacturing industries. Students will learn how math is applied to test the strength of bridges and learn basic measurements. Students will draw and build a balsa wood bridge to specifications for a friendly competition with their peers.
