The Foundation of Wayne Community College’s Arts and Humanities fall series continues with “A North Carolina Doughboy’s Story.”

This Veteran’s Day tribute lecture will be given by Joby Warrick on Monday, Nov. 3, at 5:30 p.m. in Moffatt Auditorium located inside the Wayne Learning Center (the main building on campus with the flag poles in front). The lecture is free and open to the public to attend.

Warrick will explore the heroism of North Carolinians who were part of nearly every major U.S. engagement of World War I. A Goldsboro native, best-selling author, and two-time Pulitzer Prize winner, Warrick served as a national security reporter for The Washington Post for almost three decades.
