The Foundation of Wayne Community College’s Arts and Humanities fall series continues with “Eavesdropping on Animals.”
Dr. Eleanor Spicer Rice will give this lecture on Monday, Oct. 27, at 5:30 p.m. in Moffatt Auditorium located inside the Wayne Learning Center (the main building on campus with the flag poles in front). It is free and open to the public to attend.
Rice will decode familiar creatures’ strangest behaviors featured in her book series Your Hidden Life. A Goldsboro native, Rice has written more than 10 books about the natural world and is the writer and host of Our State Magazine‘s “North Carolina, Naturally” series. Her work has appeared and been reviewed in many publications, including The New York Times, National Geographic, and Scientific American.
