Science Night for 3rd-5th Graders

Students in Wayne Community College’s Biology Honors program will hold a free science event for elementary school students.

“Science Night” is scheduled for 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 8. It will be held on the college’s main campus in Goldsboro.

Third- through fifth-grade students are invited to create genetic bracelets, walking rainbows and floating drawings as they learn about genes, water transport in plants, and chemical solutions.

Space is limited to 50 participants who must be accompanied by their parents.
