A robust discussion of Educated, Wayne County Reads' 2019 book selection, Tuesday evening has set the tone for this year's “season of reading.”

George Herman Porter, 85, died Sunday, February 24, 2019. Dr. Porter served as Wayne Community College's third president from 1987 to 1992.

Wayne County Reads has scheduled programs for each Tuesday in its March 2019 “season of reading.” 

WCC is a finalist for prizes in two American Association of Community Colleges Award of Excellence categories.

WCC's Applied Animal Science Technology program has been awarded a grant to assist with recruiting students.
