Wayne Community College’s Business Administration/Operations Management program will present an inspiring evening with Tim Whitman, founder of Pro 27 Leadership and author of Welcome to Purpose.

The “Lead with a Purpose” event will take place Thursday, Oct. 23, at 7 p.m. in Moffatt Auditorium located inside the Wayne Learning Center (the main building on WCC’s campus with the flag poles in front). It is free and open to the public.
“Everyone is created on purpose and for a purpose,” Whitman said. “Too often, we spend our lives knowing what we believe without slowing down long enough to truly understand it. We let the world lead us by its compass until we’re exhausted, pouring ourselves out for expectations that leave us empty.”
In his presentation, Whitman will walk attendees through the S.H.A.R.P. Leadership Framework—Secure, Honest, Authentic, Resilient, and Purpose-driven—showing how to build a strong foundation, embrace honesty, lead authentically, remain resilient through challenges, and live with unshakable purpose.
“Attendees will leave equipped to lead themselves and others with greater clarity, confidence, and intentionality,” Whitman shared.
WCC’s Business Administration/Operations Management program offers a two-semester Leadership Certificate that features Whitman’s book as part of its curriculum.
“The Lead with a Purpose event encapsulates our Leadership Certificate, empowering people to take control over their lives, find positive direction, and strengthen their character for a life filled with influence and purpose,” said WCC Business Administration/Operations Management Instructor Michelle Gay.
