Real Estate Pre-Licensing

This course is required to satisfy the educational requirements for a provisional broker and is designed to prepare the student to pass the real estate license broker examination administered by the N.C. Real Estate Commission. Topics include basic real estate principles and practices, law and contracts, financing, closing valuation, and fair housing and real estate laws.

Our Real Estate course is offered in three format options:

Pre-Licensing On Demand

• This course is 100% online and self-paced.
• Requirements include online attendance and passing of state and national final exam administered in the online learning platform.
• No textbook requirement. All materials are available in the online learning platform. Students have the option of purchasing the textbook in the campus bookstore.
• Upon passing both the state and national final exams in the course, the students are provided with a certificate of completion to use to register for the licensing exam administered by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission.

Pre-Licensing Online

• This course is 100% online.
• Required attendance in weekly virtual meeting (link provided by instructor)
• Other requirements include passing of state and national final exam administered in the online learning platform.
• No textbook requirement. All materials are available in the online learning platform. Students have the option of purchasing the textbook in the campus bookstore.
• Upon passing both the state and national final exams in the course, the students are provided with a certificate of completion to use to register for the licensing exam administered by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission.

Pre-Licensing Hybrid/On Campus

• This course is hybrid and meets on campus.
• Required attendance on Tuesday & Thursday 6:00-9:00pm
• Other requirements include passing of state and national final exam administered in the class on campus.
• Requires a textbook. Available for purchase in the campus bookstore.
