WCC will hold its annual “Discover Wayne” event for high school juniors and seniors on the mornings of Nov. 28 and Nov. 29.
Two shows that start this month will feature Wayne Community College student art. Paintings, drawings, and design pieces created by WCC Fine Arts students will be exhibited at the Maxwell Regional Agricultural and Convention Center and the Arts Council of Wayne County.
A Wayne Community College student is the recipient of an aviation scholarship from the National Business Aviation Association.
The college will hold its annual Veterans Celebration on Thursday, Nov. 8 in the Atrium of the Wayne Learning Center. Events include a “Thank A Vet” reception, Military and Partners Expo, and an exhibit of veteran-created art from the VetStories project.
