Emergency Medical Services

The Emergency Medical Service Programs are designed to provide certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), First Aid, Emergency Medical Responder (EMR), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Paramedic, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Continuing Education is available to individuals and agencies. BLS (CPR), EMR, EMT and Paramedic recertification classes are offered each semester for renewal of certifications. Classes are held on campus, online, throughout the county, and on requested sites (such as businesses, churches, etc.).

Advanced Emergency Medical Technician: $59,136.55
Paramedic: $66,850.13 (based on skills, certifications, etc.)

Paramedic Program Minimum Expectations

To prepare competent entry-level Paramedics in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains with or without exit points at the Advanced Emergency Medical Technician and/or Emergency Medical Technician, and/or Emergency Medical Responder levels.
