DETERMINATION OF CREDIT/CLOCK HOUR CONVERSION
Determination of enrollment for credit/clock conversion programs is based on totaling each contact hour and multiplying it by 16 weeks and divided by 37.5 for the fall and spring semesters. For the summer term, the total contact hours are multiplied by 10 weeks and divided by 37.5. The converted hours are then used to determine the enrollment status.
ABOUT FINANCIAL AID
The Federal Pell Grant reflected on the award letter is based on full-time enrollment in an eligible program. For a student enrolled in a credit/clock program, enrollment in at least 24 contact hours is required in order to receive the full-time award. Contact hours less than 24 will result in a reduction in the financial aid award and in the payment of the Federal Pell Grant.
